1. Setting network card
a. Ensure that the network card drivers are installed properly and have no conflicts
b. Set parameters for TCP/IP protocol:
For the network card, set IP - address 192.168.1.2, subnet mark 255.255.255.0, default gateway
192.168.1.1 in TCP/IP protocol properties.
3. Setting modem configurations
a. Type http://192.168.1.1/. in your browser’s address line . Type admin for username and admin for password.
b. Choose Quick Start in the new page.
c. Enter the parameters, set by the provider VPI, VCI (VPI=0, VCI=33), then click Next.
d. Set option "Protocol" in "Bridging", parameter "Encapsulation Type” in "LLC/SNAP". Then click Next.
e. Click Next again, skipping the rest.
f. Click Finish.
g. Shut the configuration window and open after the modem restarts in 2 minutes.
4. Setting internet connection
a. Select ‘Create new connection’ in ‘Network connections’
b. Click Next in the appearing window of New Connections Wizard
c. Choose ‘Connect to Internet’ and then click Next.
d. Choose ‘Set connection manually’ and click Next.
e. Select ‘Via high-speed connection requiring username and password’ and click Next
f. Enter Connect in provider’s name and click Next.
g . Enter Login and Password respectively from the registration list instead of username and password.
h. Choose ‘Add connection tag on the desktop’ and click Ready.
i. Choose Connect on the desktop and click Connect. Finish.
